Below are the various types of cookies used by Ciccus according to the purpose of use

This type of cookie is strictly necessary for the proper functioning of certain sections of the Site. There are two categories: persistent and session cookies:

  • persistent: once the browser is closed they are not destroyed but remain until a preset expiration date
  • of sessions: they are destroyed every time the browser is closed

These cookies, always sent from our domain, are necessary to correctly display the site and in relation to the technical services offered, will therefore always be used and sent, unless users change the settings in their browser (thus affecting the display of the site pages).

Analytical Cookies

Cookies in this category are used to collect information about the use of the site. Ciccus will use this information for anonymous statistical analysis in order to improve the use of the Site and to make the content more interesting and relevant to users' wishes. This type of cookie collects anonymous data about user activity and how it arrived on the Site. Analytical cookies are sent by the Site itself or by third party domains.

Third-party service analysis cookies

These cookies are used to collect information about theuse of the Site by users anonymously such as: pages visited, time spent, traffic origin, geographical origin, age, gender and interests for the purposes of marketing campaigns. These cookies are sent by third party domains outside the Site, in our case by Google Analytics.

Cookies to integrate third-party software products and features

This type of cookie integrates features developed by third parties within the pages of the Site such as icons and preferences expressed in social networks in order to share Site content or to use third party software services (such as map generation software and additional software offering additional services). These cookies are sent by third party domains and partner sites that offer their functionality between Site pages.

Profiling cookies

These are those cookies necessary to create user profiles in order to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user within the pages of the Site.

We do not use profiling cookies on our Site.

ciccus.it, according to current legislation, is not required to request consent for technical cookies, as they are necessary to provide the requested services.

How to disable cookies
by configuring your browser

Chrome

  1. Run the Chrome Browser
  2. Click on the menu on the toolbar of the browser next to the url input window for navigation
  3. Select Settings
  4. Click Show Advanced Settings
  5. In the "Privacy" section click on "Content settings" button
  6. In the "Cookies" section you can change the following settings for cookies:
    • Allow data to be saved locally
    • Change local data only until you close the browser
    • Prevent sites from setting cookies
    • Blocking third party cookies and site data
    • Manage exceptions for some websites
    • Deleting one or all cookies

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Run the Mozilla Firefox Browser

  3. Select Options
  4. Select the Privacypanel
  5. Click Show Advanced Settings
  6. In the "Privacy" section click on "Content settings" button
  7. In the section "Tracking" you can change the following cookie settings:
    • Ask the sites not to do any tracking
    • Communicate to the sites the willingness to be tracked
    • Do not communicate any preference regarding the tracking of personal data
  8. From the section "Chronology" it's possible:
    • By enabling "Use custom settings" select to accept third party cookies (always, from the most visited sites or never) and keep them for a specified period (until they expire, when Firefox closes or ask each time).
    • Remove individual stored cookies

Internet Explorer

  1. Run the Internet Explorer Browser
  2. Click the Tools button and choose Internet Options
  3. Click on the tab Privacy and in the Settings section change the slider according to the desired action for cookies:
    • Block all cookies
    • Allow all cookies

Safari iOS (mobile devices)
